Description
Application Areas
- In positive waterproofing against ground moisture and
seepage water in foundations, retaining and shear walls - In exterior waterproofing of basements
- In waterproofing wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and WCs

- In positive (internal) waterproofing of areas such as swimming pools and water tanks
- Used in underground and above-ground construction works, horizontally and vertically, for the positive waterproofing of concrete, plaster, and screed
Application Information
Apply CLASSMİKS 2K in at least two coats. The waiting time between coats must be observed. After completing the first coat applied consistently in the same
direction, apply the second coat perpendicular to the first. When applied across very wide spans,
it can be applied by leaving joints of appropriate width to prevent cracking; the formed joints can be filled with flexible sealants.
On surfaces with a risk of cracking, CLASS Reinforcement Mesh can be embedded between the two coats. Chamfering should be applied at horizontal-to-vertical
and vertical-to-vertical junctions. Suitable CLASS Chamfer Tape can be used over it.
Consumption
Approximately 2–4 kg/m² for a 1 mm thickness.
