Class Rubber – Elastomeric Resin-Based Waterproofing Material

CLASS RUBBER

CLASS RUBBER is a single-component, elastomeric resin-based, ready-to-use, paintable, flexible acrylic-based waterproofing material with high UV resistance that provides impermeability by forming a seamless layer on the surface. Solvent-free and with a viscous liquid appearance, CLASS RUBBER is applied to dry or slightly damp surfaces.

Description

Application Areas

  • In water tanks, swimming and ornamental pools
  • For waterproofing wet areas such as bathrooms, toilets, balconies, and terraces.
  • On sloped terrace roofs
  • On concrete, plaster, and screed surfaces
  • Used in the waterproofing of galvanized sheet metal, aluminum, zinc, PVC eaves, concealed gutters,
    and rainwater channels.

Application Information

Before application, surfaces are primed with CLASS RUBBER diluted with water at a 1:1 ratio. Consumption is approximately 100–250 g/m². The primer
is applied to the surface with a brush. Non-absorbent glossy surfaces must be roughened by mechanical methods prior to primer application. The primer
coat is left to dry for 3–4 hours. CLASS RUBBER must be applied in at least two coats on primed surfaces, and the waiting time between coats
must be observed. It must be ensured that the previous coat is fully dry before applying the subsequent coat. After the first coat application is completed by applying in the same direction throughout,
the second coat application is applied in the opposite direction, perpendicular to it.

Consumption

Primer application: 100-250 g/m²
Horizontal application: 1–1.5 kg/m² (for 1 mm thickness)
Vertical application: 0.800–1.00 kg/m² (for 1 mm thickness)
Consumption rates may vary depending on surface conditions, voids, and similar loss factors.
