The prepared ready-to-use CLASS 1058 mortar is applied to the surface by pressing firmly with a trowel to form a base layer. The blocks are firmly pressed into the mortar and bonded within a maximum of 25 minutes. Ensure at least 90% mortar contact with the bonding surface of the aerated concrete. Superior adhesion is achieved by lightly tapping the bonded aerated concrete blocks with a plastic mallet. The bottom and side surfaces of the first row of aerated concrete blocks in contact with the mortar must be moistened with water before laying. This procedure is not required for subsequent rows.
