Class Cilon – Water-Based Transparent Exterior Waterproofing Material

CLASS CILON

CLASS CILON is a water-based, colorless, water-repellent (hydrophobic) exterior waterproofing material that penetrates surfaces in contact with non-pressurized water, protects the surface against external factors, prevents water retention, forms an invisible barrier in capillary channels, and does not alter the appearance of the surface. Since it does not form a film layer on the surface, it does not prevent the building from breathing, does not alter its exterior appearance, does not blister or darken over time, and imparts no color or gloss.

Description

Application Areas

  • To prevent darkening, staining, and discoloration caused by frost and rainwater on exterior claddings
  • To prevent the formation of moss and fungus on low-absorbency surfaces such as concrete, marble, brick, stone, and granite
  • To prevent efflorescence and blistering on mineral-based and absorbent surfaces
  • Used as a primer beneath exterior topcoat paints.

Application Information

CLASS CILON should be applied from top to bottom using a brush or spray method. The application must be performed in two coats. It should be applied until the surfaces are saturated. Waiting a maximum of 10 minutes between coats, the second coat must be applied wet-on-wet without waiting for the first coat to dry completely. Ensure that it does not splash onto glossy surfaces such as glass and metal. In case of splashing, clean the area using a wet sponge.
