Class Crystal – Crystalline Waterproofing Material

CLASS CRYSTAL

It is a cement-based, single-component, capillary-action waterproofing material applied from both positive and negative sides, manufactured by modification with active chemical additives, protecting reinforced concrete elements and rendering them impermeable through a crystallization effect.

Description

Application Areas

  • Effective against both water pressure from the application surface side (positive water pressure) and water pressure from the reverse direction (negative water pressure); it is used in foundation and retaining wall waterproofing, water tanks, tunnels, elevator pits, retaining walls, dams, and ports.

Application Information

The mixture in the container must be consumed within 20 minutes. The prepared mixture is applied with a brush onto the water-saturated surface. The second coat must be applied before the first coat dries and begins to crystallize. This period ranges between 3-5 hours depending on ambient conditions. The maximum waiting time between coats is 6 hours. Rapid moisture loss from the material after application must be prevented. Curing compounds must not be used. CLASS CRYSTAL must be kept moist for 5-7 days. In water reservoirs, the tank should be filled with water 24 hours after application to accelerate the crystal formation time and increase penetration depth. In exterior surface applications, the surface must be protected from sun, frost, wind, and rain for the first 24 hours.

Consumption

1.0 kg/m² of powder product is used for each coat. An application of at least 2 coats is recommended.

Packaging

20 kg Kraft Bag
