Description
Application Areas
- Used for the structural strengthening of static cracks in reinforced concrete structures, stone, and infill bricks.
- In the filling of tie-rod holes.
- In injection works for porous reinforced concrete structures behind shear walls in the presence of water leakages.
- In anchoring works.
Application Information
Cracks to be treated must be dry. The application can be performed with a manual or electric motor-driven injection machine. The prepared mixture is transferred to the injection pump and injected into the crack using injection packers. The injection process should be carried out from bottom to top, ensuring that the injection resin does not leak from the visible front face of the crack. The injection process should continue until the pressure gauge reading stabilizes, ensuring complete penetration of the resin even into hairline cracks. In special cases (wide floor cracks, etc.), application can be performed by pouring. In such horizontal applications, the crack opening should first be widened into a V-shape and cleaned using (oil-free/dry) compressed air. Then, the crack should be filled by pouring CLASS PUX-770. The pouring process should be continued at intervals until the crack is completely filled. If the bottom of the cracks is open, it must be sealed with structural repair mortars possessing appropriate specifications.
Consumption
Consumption varies depending on the method of application. Conducting a preliminary test on the application area is recommended for consumption control (~1.1 kg).
