Description
Application Areas
- In epoxy and polyurethane floor coating systems,
- In polyurethane, polyurea, etc. waterproofing systems,
- Used for substrate repair, filling, and chamfering by adding special silica sand.
Application Information
Applied by roller or notched trowel. The prepared mixture is applied homogeneously to the pre-prepared surface using the selected method. CLASS EPX-130 is applied in one or two coats until the surface is saturated and a continuous film layer is formed. If matte spots appear, an additional coat is required. The subsequent coat follows before the previous one begins to dry. The number of coats varies from surface to surface depending on absorbency. If a rough surface is desired, specially graded silica sand is broadcast across the entire surface while the applied material is still wet. After the material has fully cured, excess sand is swept away using an industrial vacuum cleaner.
- CLASS EPX-130 can be applied homogeneously to the surface using a notched trowel or short-pile roller, maintaining material consumption control.
- The material must be protected against water, rain, external ambient factors, and mechanical stress until it cures completely.
- It should be taken into account that curing/waiting times may shorten in hot weather and extend in cold weather.
Consumption
Depending on the quality of the concrete to be treated, theoretical values of 0.300 kg/m² – 0.500 kg/m² are recommended.
Substrate pore structure, absorbency, and similar conditions may increase consumption. Conducting a test patch on the target substrate for consumption control is recommended.
Packaging
In 21 kg (A: 15 + B: 6) sets in tin pails
