Description
Application Areas
- In indoor spaces
- In areas with medium and high pedestrian and vehicular traffic such as schools, shopping malls, hospitals, hotels, stores, etc.
- On cement-based screed, precast concrete, concrete slabs, etc.
- It is applied to level the subfloor prior to the final topcoat application.
Application Information
The prepared (fluid-state) CLASS Relaks is poured onto the substrate and combed with a notched trowel to achieve the desired thickness. Air bubbles preventing adhesion in pinholes and similar voids on the floor are released by rolling the mortar crosswise with a spiked roller. On floors requiring a two-coat application, the second coat is applied immediately once the first coat achieves sufficient initial strength. If the waiting time between coats exceeds 24 hours, a cold joint will form; in such cases, CLASS Primer TE priming agent must be applied between coats. To avoid cold joints during continuous application over wide spans, the mortar should be prepared in multiple buckets and poured onto the floor successively. The final floor covering application should be carried out according to the type of finishing material to be installed. It should not be applied on unstable and loose substrates, outdoor areas, areas continuously exposed to water, industrial zones, or wooden floors. It must not be used as a final topcoat. In underfloor heating systems, the heating system must be shut off at least 24 hours prior to the CLASS Relaks application and turned back on 24 hours after application.
